The Bassmaster Classic Should Think About Moving To Chinatown Next Year

17.50 a pound?!! I’ve spent about a thousand times that rate chasing hog bass over my lifetime and am starting to think maybe I should have just come here first and stocked my neighbor’s swimming pool. I mean who on Earth is purchasing live Bass to eat for dinner? There have to be at least 100 McDonald’s in New York City and maybe a couple thousand restaurants, and there are people who are going out of their way to buy living,swimming Largemouth Bass to eat… willingly?!

Chinatown is a CRAZY place if you haven’t been there. For a dude from the western suburbs of St. Louis, it is pretty hard to believe there is a place that is completely foreign in the middle of one of the most American places on Earth. These stores look like Shedd Aquarium in there! Tilapia, Stripers, Largemouth Bass…

I was waiting for them to start advertising a new jellyfish exhibit or something. If you are a parent with young kids and want to save money, maybe take them to check out the wildlife at these stores for free instead of paying for a zoo. If you are a fish… try to be anywhere on the planet but here.
